Job summary
Resources for Human Development is seeking a dedicated DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL for the Community Passages program in Cheswick. You will assist individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living activities, personal care, meal prep, and household tasks in a homelike residential setting, building skills and promoting independence.
No extensive experience is required as paid training is provided, and daily pay options are available.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; related field education is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in daily living activities, including personal care and meals.
- Foster positive relationships with clients while promoting independence.
- Assist with developing daily living skills and social activities.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of care and support.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
