Job summary

LIFESPAN is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support people with disabilities in home and community settings. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and ongoing development to help you grow within our supportive team.

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll promote independence, help with daily activities, meals, and personal care, and support social inclusion. We offer competitive pay and flexible schedules including full- and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license for minimum two consecutive years.
• Background check and healthcare registry clearance required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds per policy.

Responsibilities

• Teach skills to promote independence.
• Support community inclusion and integration.
• Mentor individuals to build social skills and relationships.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide transportation and accompany to designated sites as needed.
