Buckeye Residential Solutions in Austintown, OH is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide quality support services to clients, enhancing their physical, emotional, intellectual, vocational, communication, and social skills according to individual needs and choices.

You will also be expected to maintain accurate records as required by Buckeye Residential Solutions and governing agencies such as ODDD, ODHS, and County Case Management, with shifts based on client needs and options for

Qualifications

• No job-related experience necessary!
• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid, current driver’s license.
• Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards.
• Positive attitude with the desire to help others.

Responsabilités

• Follow established policies and procedures set by the agency.
• Assist clients with meeting objectives of their Individual Service Plans.
• Monitor and ensure the client’s safety, health, and welfare.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
• Always maintain the highest standard of conduct and courtesy in dealing with clients, their family, the staff, and the community. Promote positive interaction.
• Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings, designated training and in-service sessions.
• Assist clients as needed with: Health care and personnel hygiene
• Meal Preparations and shopping
• Household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Recreation, social and leisure time skills
• Transportation as required
• Other Duties as assigned.
