American Baptist Homes of the Midwest Albert Lea, MN seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help residents live safely, independently, and with dignity. Join Crest Services with a flexible schedule and part-time opportunities, $17.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus, and weekend shifts available.

In this role you’ll work with individuals who have developmental disabilities and others needing supportive care, providing essential daily living assistance, transportation, and compassionate

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Previous caregiving, healthcare, DSP, CNA, PCA, home health, or medical experience is preferred but not required—we provide paid training.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Provide compassionate support while encouraging independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and fellow team members.
• Provide support with specialized care needs including wound care, bladder care, bowel care, and catheter care as needed.
