Job summary

ICM in Arkansas is seeking a dedicated home care assistant to provide quality care and guidance to customers, including help with daily living activities, meals, grooming, and medication support.

You will document daily shift updates in an online platform, monitor safety, arrange transportation for appointments, and collaborate with the care team to improve clients' quality of life. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with reliability and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Understands and endorses ICM’s mission and vision.

• Understands and complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and guidance to customers with daily activities such as bathing, meals, dressing, grooming, medication support and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation for errands and serve as a companion.
• Help customers achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor surroundings to ensure safety and success, including equipment and materials.
