Job summary

INTEGRITY SUPPORT SOLUTIONS is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate, individualized care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or mental health challenges in the Phoenixville area.

The DSP will foster independence, support daily living skills, and help individuals engage in community activities. Prior DSP or Home Health Aide experience is a plus; strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and acceptable MVR preferred.
• Must pass Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check and drug test.
• Possess or be able to acquire First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Improve and respect the lives of individuals with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities
• Assist in implementing individual and behavioral plan goals
• Update case notes daily with feedback on strengths and needs
• Help individuals develop social, behavioral, housekeeping, and daily life skills
• Assist with daily living activities including meals and personal hygiene
• Support recreational, social, and community activities per preferences and goals
• Provide supervision and guidance during skill-building activities
• Encourage establishment of social networks
• Develop rapport and maintain a safe, supportive relationship
• Ensure individuals' rights are protected
