Apis Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based residential homes in Philadelphia, PA. The DSP ensures safety, provides daily living support, and promotes independence with a person-centered approach.

No prior experience is required for many positions, and paid training is provided. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and ability to document in English are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Basic computer and internet proficiency.
• Ability to read, write, and document effectively in English.
• Ability to complete and maintain required certifications and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety, supervision, and support to individuals with IDD in community-based residential settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living and skill development.
• Encourage participation in home, recreational, vocational, and community activities.
• Document progress toward goals and ISPs; maintain required records.
