Job summary

Dungarvin inc in Madison, WI is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to provide person-centered supports in a residential group home, helping with daily activities, personal cares, and community integration.

You will mentor and assist with meals, housekeeping, and health and safety while supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior IDD or behavioral experience is a plus, with paid training and orientation provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication is key; you will document care and follow support plans.
• Must have a valid driver's license due to transporting persons served.
• Background clearance is required as part of onboarding/employment process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in residential group home settings to support people with disabilities in daily activities and community integration.
• Provide medications administration and monitor medical well-being when needed.
• Mentor individuals to become more independent and support with daily tasks and personal cares.
