Job summary

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team to support elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities with dignity and respect.

This position offers flexible schedules, part-time or full-time options, and opportunities for growth within a long-standing company. Responsibilities include home care, light housekeeping, transportation, meals, medication reminders, and companionship to improve quality of life for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time.

Responsibilities

• Care for Participants and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.
• Provide light home assistance—light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation; accompany clients to appointments and assist/reminders with medications.
• Prepare meals, purchase food, and provide personal assistance with general living needs; personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
• Provide companionship and conversation to stimulate, encourage, and assist an individual.
