Job summary

TRUCARING INC in Indiana is seeking qualified CNA / DSP / Direct Care Staff to provide services to people with intellectual/physical disabilities in residential settings. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time positions with shifts such as 7a-5p, 8a-4p, 11a-7p, 4p-12a and 12a-8a.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily needs, meals, housekeeping and medications, and providing direct care and support as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions, both written and oral, in English to perform duties.
• Interest and concern for people with developmental disabilities, and possess sufficient patience and understanding to deal with their special needs.
• Must attend scheduled in-service training and other training as required.
• One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals who can not do for themselves in daily activities.
• Provide daily living support, including meals, housekeeping and medication assistance.
• Deliver direct care and related duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or nursing staff.
