Job summary

Forest Hills Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with daily dietary tasks and support resident meals under established policies. You will help prepare, serve, and portion meals, maintain a sanitary kitchen, and support safety and infection-control practices in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include following procedures, aiding in dishwashing, stocking supplies, and assisting with meal delivery for residents, while upholding confidentiality and resident rights.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 12th grade education.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to read and follow dietary policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow established dietary procedures and policies.
• Maintain warmth and positive environment within the department.
• Assist in serving meals and observing sanitation/safety requirements.
• Prepare and deliver meals, snacks, and trays as directed.
• Assist in cleaning, inventory, and food storage as needed.
• Adhere to safety and infection-control policies.
• Report hazards and incidents to supervisor.
• Support dishwashing, utensil handling, and waste disposal.
