Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living is hiring Waitstaff to provide warm, professional dining experiences for residents. You will deliver meals, maintain dining areas, and support a high level of service that enhances residents’ quality of life.

The ideal candidate demonstrates patience, reliability, and a caring demeanor, with prior food-service experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or food-service-related industry.
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a strong ability to multi-task.
• Possesses good communication, customer service and people skills.
• Is professional, patient and able to satisfy a demanding customer base.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patiently and cheerfully taking resident meal orders
• Checking station tables for settings and cleanliness
• Reading the menu before service so that you can knowledgeably assist the residents with their selections
• Assisting in the plating and proper portion controls of some or all of the following: appetizers, salads, soups, beverages and desserts
• Bussing tables at the end of the meal
