Job summary

Highland Hills Assisted Living is seeking dedicated and friendly individuals to join our dining services team as Waitstaff in Watkinsville, GA. You will help provide an excellent dining experience for our residents by serving meals promptly and courteously, while maintaining a clean and safe dining area.

The position is part-time with rotating shifts, offering opportunities for training and professional development in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare dining setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Meal Service: Set up dining areas, serve meals and beverages, and ensure residents receive their food promptly.
• Resident Interaction: Engage with residents in a friendly manner, addressing their dietary preferences and special requests with care and professionalism.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and ensuring all equipment is sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for residents.
• Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling procedures and personal hygiene standards.
