Job summary

WellQuest Living community in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a part-time Wait Staff member to serve meals in a friendly, courteous manner within a WellQuest Living community dining setting. You will assist with menu selections, take orders, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate preparation and timely service.

Responsibilities include delivering meals, maintaining dining room readiness, and supporting dining operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Food Handlers Card as required.
• Wait Staff experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make resident satisfaction the number one priority.
• Serve meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient and courteous manner.
• Assist residents with menu selections as needed.
• Take residents and guests’ food and beverage orders accurately and professionally.
• Ensure food orders reflect special requests, including substitutions.
• Identify preparation methods and ingredients for daily specials.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms as required.
• Prepare dining room prior to each meal and stock supplies.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Report equipment safety issues as needed.
• Provide support to community’s marketing efforts through friendly interaction during tours.
