Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and dining room reset after meals.
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls before and after meals.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Follow sit-down service and proper serving techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of basic food preparation and storage labeling.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, coworkers and supervisors.
