JGS Communities – Ruth's House in Massachusetts is seeking a Server to provide friendly, respectful meal service to residents, deliver meals, set up trays, and assist with resident requests. The role includes preparing dining areas, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment before, during, and after meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, visitors, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, respectful meal service to residents, including taking orders, delivering meals, setting up trays, and assisting with resident requests.
• Prepare dining areas by setting tables, stocking supplies, clearing dishes, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment before, during, and after meals.
• Clean and sanitize dining spaces, service areas, and equipment while following food safety, infection prevention, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist dietary staff with meal service tasks, including replenishing beverages and supplies and supporting special dietary needs.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive timely, courteous service and a positive dining experience.
