Job summary

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, respectful meal service to residents, including taking orders, delivering meals, setting up tables, and assisting with resident requests.
• Prepare dining areas by setting tables, stocking supplies, clearing dishes, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment before, during, and after meals.
• Clean and sanitize dining spaces, service areas, and equipment while following food safety, infection prevention, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist dietary staff with meal service tasks, including replenishing beverages and supplies and supporting special dietary needs.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents receive timely, courteous service and a positive dining experience.
