Job summary

Saratoga Retirement Community is seeking dedicated servers for our upscale Skilled Nursing Facility in Saratoga, CA. We offer part-time or full-time positions with weekend availability and flexible scheduling to support our residents during meals.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
Previous server experience highly preferred.
6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.
Must have effective English verbal and written communication skills.
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen; TB test may be required by state/local guidelines.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with meal service, including menu selection and portioning.
Present menu, answer questions, and suggest selections to residents.
Record orders and communicate with kitchen staff; know menu ingredients and prep methods.
Deliver meals efficiently and assist residents as needed.
Clear, clean, and reset tables for the next service.
Assist with light back-of-house/kitchen duties as needed.
Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
