Job summary

Academy Mapleton Hill (AMH) in Boulder, CO seeks a Dining Server to prepare the dining room, take meal and beverage orders, and serve residents and guests with exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities include setting up/cleaning dining areas, presenting menus, and assisting with special events while maintaining residents’ privacy and satisfaction. A friendly demeanor and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with residents and teammates.
• Ability to set up/maintain dining areas per service standards.
• Learn menus and beverage program.
• Commitment to residents’ privacy and confidentiality.
• Adaptability for events beyond normal service.

Responsibilities

• Learn and continue knowledge of menus, beverage program, and service standards.
• Set up and break down dining room, beverage station, and server stations for each service.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner to learn needs and preferences.
• Work special events beyond daily meals (concerts, social hours, lectures).
• Communicate with managers about issues in real time.
• Protect residents’ rights and privacy as required by regulations.
• Practice AMH’s Service Standards in all work situations.
• Maintain confidentiality for sensitive information about residents and staff.
• Be organized and efficient in workload management.
