Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Must have clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient, exceptional dining experience with first-class customer service to residents and families.
• Present a professional demeanor aligned with a service-oriented philosophy.
• Assist residents with beverages, salads, soups, desserts and other service needs; use trays for service and bussing.
• Pre-bus tables and reset them with utensils, chinaware, silverware and glassware as residents leave.
• Complete daily cleaning duties and set up salad bars, beverage stations and service areas.
• Assist cooks with minor preparation and plate setup.
• Follow directions from Culinary Director and managers.
