Job summary

Woodlands in Huntington, WV is seeking a full-time Dining Room Server to serve residents in the main dining room. You will greet guests, take orders, and coordinate with dietary cooks to ensure timely service. The role includes cleaning, resetting tables, and assisting during special functions while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Background checks and a drug test are required; weekend availability is necessary.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: Food Handlers’ permit preferred
• Experience: Experience preferred but no required; Job training provided
• Zero Tolerance: Successfully pass background and drug test

Responsibilities

• Provide gracious and courteous services.
• Greet residents with warmth and respect, using correct names.
• Monitor tables during the meal; be available for requests.
• Complete all cleaning tasks, including side work and resetting tables.
• Obtain food supplies and needed equipment for the next meal.
• Assist during special functions and deliver food carts as needed.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary workstation and cooperate with staff.
