Job summary

Parkview Manor Inc is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to assist in meal prep, service, and clean-up under the Cook or Dietary Manager. This role is a great fit for someone in school and within a supportive senior living community in Reinbeck, IA.

You will help prepare dining spaces, ensure cleanliness of food, dishes, and equipment, and respond to resident requests with a positive, service-minded attitude. Eligibility starts at age 16 with strong customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assures the dining room is prepared for the meal to be served at the specified times
• Assures food, dinnerware and kitchen equipment is either properly disposed of or clean/sanitized according to schedules and ready for the following shift
• Responds appropriately to all resident requests on an individual basis
• Interacts with residents/staff in a positive way while doing food preparation and food service
