Job summary

Parkview Manor is seeking a caring candidate to join our team as a Dietary Aide, assisting in meal prep, service, and cleanup under supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone in school and aligned with our not-for-profit mission to provide dignified care to residents in Reinbeck, IA.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service background.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assures the dining room is prepared for the meal to be served at the specified times
• Assures food, dinnerware and kitchen equipment is either properly disposed of or clean/sanitized according to schedules and ready for the following shift
• Responds appropriately to all resident requests on an individual basis
• Interacts with residents/staff in a positive way while doing food preparation and food service
