Job summary

Wesley Willows Corporation in Rockton, IL seeks a part-time Dining Services Associate to assist with meal preparation and dining services for residents, while keeping dining areas clean and safe. You’ll follow dietary guidelines and provide supportive mealtime assistance to residents.

Applicants must be 18+, have a state food handlers’ card or be willing to obtain one within 30 days, and ideally have experience in food service or long-term care; a HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a state food handlers’ card or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in food service or long-term care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work with patience, sensitivity, and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service to support resident dining needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized dining and food prep areas.
• Follow dietary and infection control guidelines.
• Provide respectful and supportive mealtime assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ eating habits.
