Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services Community Stayton at Museum Way in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Dietary Assistant to support culinary staff and help deliver meals to residents. The role involves setting tables, preparing trays, serving in dining rooms, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will assist with prep work, handle beverages and food, and ensure compliance with Buckner policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Food handlers certificate required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English business documents.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and move around the kitchen for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set tables, bus tables, wash tables after meals and prepare serving lines.
• Prepare beverages and food as required and serve in dining rooms.
• Serve residents and maintain hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.
• Receive, store and rotate groceries and supplies; handle inventory as needed.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain all kitchen equipment and carts.
• Help prepare meal prep work and work as part of a team with strong coworker relationships.
