Job summary

Waldron Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals per planned menus and dietary instructions. You will help provide snacks and substitutions for residents while maintaining sanitary conditions and following infection control standards.

Responsibilities include delivering meals, cleaning dishes, and assisting with kitchen tasks to ensure smooth daily operations in the dining area and food service areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food service areas.
• Must be willing to adopt new methods and adjust to evolving practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes, including special diets.
• Prepare and serve residents with nutritional bedtime snacks and substitutions as needed.
• Ensure the dining and kitchen areas are clean, safe, and well organized; maintain infection control standards.
• Deliver snacks, meals and carts; assist with dishwashing and cleaning to support daily operations.
