Job summary

Cascade Living Group Meadow Creek Village is seeking a Dietary Aide (Dining Services Associate) to create a safe, comfortable dining experience for residents. You will help prepare meals, deliver service trays, and build relationships with residents and staff.

The position requires first aid and food handler/Serve Safe certification, reliable transportation, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess current first aid certification and a current food handler’s or serve safe certification.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Effective communicator with staff, residents and families.
• Demonstrate active listening and respectful interaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room for all meals and complete pre-meal procedures.
• Fill resident food requests and transport food to dining room or deliver service trays.
• Establish relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Use tasting techniques to understand entrees and know ingredients.
• Demonstrate organizational time management.
• Understand menus and answer questions as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and dining room.
• Work as part of a team to meet management goals.
• Promote Cascade Living mission, values and beliefs.
