The Waters of Maryville is seeking an Experienced Cook to join our TEAM as a Dietary Cook. You will prepare meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner while following specific dietary restrictions for our residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a sanitation certificate, and at least 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital or skilled nursing setting is preferred. Ability to cook in large quantities and maintain hygiene is essential.

Formación

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or equivalent
• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary)
• Must have a sanitation certificate
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures

• Prepare and assist with food preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following dietary restrictions
• Provide alternatives for residents as needed
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Maintain courteous, empathic, and professional attitude
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Maintain confidentiality of all activities and persons
• Present a professional appearance at all times
• Ensure transportation is available to accommodate schedule flexibility
