Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group is hiring a Dietary Cook for Spring Hollow in Orem, UT. This role prepares meals per dietary guidelines, assists the Dietitian, and maintains safe, appetizing service for residents.

Requirements include a high school diploma (preferred), a current Food Handler Permit, and the ability to work 18+ with a compassionate, team-oriented approach. Supervisory dietary experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary).

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares the meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements changes as required.
• Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports.
• Assists in establishing food service production lines to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Ensures food procedures are followed according to policies.
