Topaz Fiscal Services LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook to support nursing home residents, staff and visitors with nourishing meals under the supervision of the Dietary Services Manager.

The role requires preparing, seasoning and cooking meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following state regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of institutional food service experience; weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in institutionalized food service preferred.
• Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for residents.
• Assist in cleaning up and kitchen maintenance.
• Prepare snacks and take inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
• Learn protocols and regulations for the facilities and states where they work.
• Come to work as scheduled and maintain dependability and responsibility.
• Dress in clean, neat clothing and present an appropriate appearance.
