Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math and strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents and guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary department and resident dining areas.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activities.
• Monitor and record food and supply inventory levels, and report any discrepancies to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience and improve patient satisfaction.
