Job summary

Bradford Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aid to support our dietary team and ensure residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs.

You will assist in meal prep, maintain dining area cleanliness, and help with special events, building strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meal, snack, and beverage preparation for residents per recipes.
• Set tables and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Keep accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and waste.
• Collaborate with dietary team to plan special events and themed meals.

As a Dietary Aid at our center, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dietary team and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our residents and their dietary needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of meals, snacks, and beverages for residents, following established recipes and presentation guidelines
• Set tables and ensure cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations
• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and waste management
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events, theme meals, and holiday celebrations
• Develop relationships with residents, families, and staff to build trust, respect, and a positive working environment
• Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to enhance dietary skills and knowledge
