Responsibilities

• Assist Dietician, Dietary Management, and Cook as requested
• Help with meal preparation per residents' dietary needs
• Assist in serving meals that are appetizing in appearance
• Set up meal service and deliver trays and food carts
• Follow established portion controls
• Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines during meal prep and cleanup
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Dishwashing and cleaning of utensils
• Return clean dishes to storage areas
• Dispose of garbage per facility regulations
• Obtain food supplies for the next meal
• Follow safety regulations and report exposures to supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
