Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to recipes and safe handling practices.
• Operates institution food prep equipment per directions.
• Sets up the food tray line and assembles diet trays per diet cards.
• Delivers trays to units and ensures correct diet and tray for each resident.
• Reports equipment or food issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains clean and safe workspaces and equipment.
• Assists with survey preparation and interacts with surveyors.
