Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, ensure meals meet dietary needs and portion sizes, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented approach with residents and staff, adherence to safety guidelines, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company’s caregiver-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
