Chesterton Manor is actively seeking a Dietary Aide for our skilled nursing facility in Chesterton, Indiana. The role supports food service operations and dietary policies under supervision of the dietary leadership.

The position is full-time with responsibilities spanning meal service, kitchen sanitation, and collaboration with cooks to prepare meals while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary or food service experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals in a timely manner
• Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and other kitchen areas
• Assist cooks with meal preparation
• Serve food trays from carts and dining rooms and transport dishes to the dishwashing area
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dietary department
• Follow all food safety and dietary procedures
