Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, a ministry of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, seeks a Dietary Aide for Mary Queen & Mother Center to support residents in a mission-driven environment. Ideal candidate has a caring approach, ability to follow diets and hygiene standards, and willingness to participate in training and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, dietary, healthcare, hospitality or food-service experience.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, infection prevention, and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good personal hygiene.
• Prepare and handle food in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Plate and serve food attractively and safely.
• Set tables and prepare residents’ trays per diet orders.
• Assist residents with meals and cutlery needs.
• Follow dietary slips and tray orders accurately.
• Operate dish machine and keep area clean and sanitized.
• Stock and rotate supplies using FIFO.
