Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure meals meet dietary needs, maintain a clean kitchen, and follow safety guidelines while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to sanitation standards, and effective communication to support a positive dining experience for residents and colleagues across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by State/County law.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
