Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support a caring team and help create positive dining experiences for residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD $12.00 per hour. Benefits include telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance, and training opportunities. This on-site role requires teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
