Job summary

Accolade Healthcare is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team in Peoria, IL. You will serve meals to residents, visitors, and staff in a respectful, efficient manner and assist with basic food prep, tray delivery, and kitchen cleanup.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. A Food Handlers Certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with and serve a variety of people is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team are required.
• Reliability is required.
• Must be able to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
• Food Handlers Certification is/will be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats.
• Complete food prep for tray line and cooler.
• Puree food as needed.
• Place food and beverage items on trays according to meal requests or physicians' orders.
• Stock carts with ice water and iced tea for lunch.
• Clear tables and sanitize tables and tabletop items.
• Prepare kitchen and dining rooms for the next meal.
