Job summary

Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide in Lincoln, NE. You will support the dietary team by assisting with meal prep, serving residents, and ensuring compliance with dietary plans and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, engaging with residents, and collaborating with nurses and other staff to provide quality meals and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation: assist with preparing and cooking meals per menu plans and dietary guidelines.
• Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely, courteous manner and present meals attractively.
• Adhere to dietary restrictions and track special dietary requirements; maintain cleanliness and safety across the kitchen.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen environments, follow food safety protocols, and clean equipment and work areas.
