Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide in Crossville, Tennessee. You will follow planned menus, prepare meals, and provide food service to residents with attention to portioning, plating, and delivering meals.

You will assist cooks, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safety in handling equipment and supplies. The role requires 18+ and a high school diploma; uniforms are required and staff training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to use equipment safely.
• Must attend in-service training and staff meetings.
• Demonstrates neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Must read, know and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Follows planned menu and receives meal orders from residents.
• Prepares food and beverages for serving per established procedures.
• Provides food service to residents, including portioning, plating, loading, delivering and serving meals.
• Assists in serving plates and tray carts, including loading, delivering and serving.
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes glasses, dishes and service ware per procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and sinks after each meal.
• Clears and sanitizes tables.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Cleans cabinets, refrigerators, freezers and other equipment.
• Assists in preparation of meals, drinks, supplements and snacks.
• Assists with duties of Cook/Assistant Cook as needed.
