Orlando Senior Health is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to help follow prescribed diets and serve meals to residents in the Health Care Center. You will maintain sanitation of kitchens and dining rooms and support daily meal service.

Responsibilities include setting tables, preparing beverage carts, transporting meals, recording temperatures, and ensuring infection control and proper food handling. Training provided; opportunity to contribute to resident well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in food service in a care facility preferred.
• Ability to follow prescribed diets and proper portioning.
• Knowledge of food safety and temperature control requirements.

Aufgaben

• Sets dining room tables with correct place settings and serves meals.
• Prepares beverage cart for meal service and refills after each service.
• Transports meals and supplies to the dining room and kitchens.
• Organizes and stocks supplies in the kitchens following rotation procedures.
• Keeps refrigerator clean, labels and rotates foods daily.
• Reads diet cards and menus to ensure correct diet and portions for each resident.
• Checks and records food temperatures, serves foods at safe temperatures.
• Maintains infection control and universal precautions during duties.
