Jefferson City Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, portioning, and service for residents, staff, and events. You will follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean kitchen and safe dining experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare items and ensures food is served attractively.
• Delivers meals to designated areas according to schedule.
• Maintains proper food temperatures during preparation and service and logs temperatures.
• Keeps work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
• Operates equipment safely and reports any issues to supervisor.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality service.
