Job summary

SLP Operations, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean kitchen in a long-term care setting. You will work under the Dietary Manager's supervision to support resident meals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include portion control, tray verification, sanitation, inventory support, and participating in training sessions to ensure compliance with health regulations and residents' rights. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service preferred; long-term care experience a plus.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Willingness to work long or irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must comply with health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute menus and verify meal trays for accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies.
• Follow safety, infection control, and residents' rights policies.
• Assist with inventory control and storage of incoming items.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
