Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will work under supervision to support nutrition and dining services, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and portion sizes.

The role emphasizes customer service with residents and staff, sanitation, and safety compliance. Training and career development are provided, along with benefits such as telemedicine, prescription discounts, and financial wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
