Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, ensure meals meet dietary needs, and maintain clean dining and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, providing excellent customer service to residents and staff, and performing additional duties as assigned. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 30 lb, push/pull up to 50 lb, stand/sit/bend for extended periods.
• Must work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
