Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dietary routines and use utensils and equipment as directed.
• Assist the cook in meal preparation and service.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and facility policies.
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain sanitation.
• Assist in arranging tray cards, loading food carts and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Report equipment needs and safety concerns.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and respectful resident care.
