Job summary

Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide to support meals and dining services for residents in a senior living environment.

The role involves preparing and delivering meals, maintaining sanitary tray lines, and assisting with special diets under the Dietary Manager's supervision. Position requires good English communication, professionalism, and confidentiality in a respectful team setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for communication
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Good communication skills and professional conduct

Responsibilities

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Deliver items to resident care units or residents.
• Maintain tray line in a clean, neat, organized manner.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Load and oversee dishwashers and log wash/rinse temperatures.
• Dispose of trash and garbage in appropriate manner.
