Job summary

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO, seeks a compassionate Dietary Aide to support our Nutritional Services team. You will help provide nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for patients receiving behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food service, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is helpful.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to established dietary guidelines and patient needs.
• Assist with meal tray assembly, food portioning, and meal delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food prep areas.
• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and clinical teams to support patient care.
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards.
